We are holding our summer courses for Hinata Japanese Classes Online. Sign up to learn useful Japanese for your everyday life in Miyazaki! Registration is completely free of charge, and you’ll be taught by a qualified Japanese language teacher.

Who can apply:
・People who can read and write Hiragana and Katakana.
・People aged 18 or older who live in Miyazaki Prefecture.
・People with internet access at the location where they’ll be taking take the classes, and who can use Zoom on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
・People who can attend classes twice a week.
　*Those who frequently miss classes without prior notification after enrollment may no longer be able to attend.
・People who can complete two Level Checks at the time of application (please take the Japanese language self-evaluation tool ‘Nihongo Check’ and an online interview test).”

【Starter / Nyumon 】
This course is for people who are learning Japanese for the first time, and who can read and write hiragana and katakana to some extent. We will be using the textbook Irodori: Japanese for Life in Japan (Starter).　Please download your own textbooks.

The course consists of 30 lessons. (Topics: how to read numbers, time, talking about yourself, useful words for life in Miyazaki, etc.)
・Dates: June 11th-September 26th   
・Days: Wednesday & Friday
・Time: 1:30pm~3:30pm    　           
・Class size: 7 people (Subject to selection process if there are many applicants. We prioritize people who do not have opportunities to learn Japanese.)

【Elementary 1 / Shokyu 1】  
This course is aimed at people who have studied a bit of Japanese, and who can already read and write hiragana and katakana. We will be using the textbook Irodori: Japanese for Life in Japan (Elementary 1). Please download your own textbooks.

The course consists of 30 lessons.
(Topics: Vocabulary for going out to eat, going to public institutions, useful words for life in Miyazaki, kanji, etc.)
・Dates: June 10th-September 25th
・Days: Tuesday & Thursday
・Time: 10:00am~ 12:00pm                   
・Class size: 7 people (Subject to a selection process if there are many applicants. We prioritize people who do not have opportunities to learn Japanese.)

【Elementary 2 / Shokyu2】
This course is aimed at people who can already read and write hiragana and katakana and make simple conversation in Japanese.
We will be using the textbook Irodori: Japanese for Life in Japan Elementary 2. Please download your own textbooks.

The course consists of 30 lessons.
(Topics: Getting to know your neighborhood, talking to friends, acquaintances and coworkers, talking about yourself, useful words for life in Miyazaki, kanji, etc.)
・Dates: June 11th-September 26th         
・Days: Wednesday & Friday
・Time: 10:00am~ 12:00pm                      
・Class size: 7 people (Subject to a selection process if there are many applicants. We prioritize people who do not have opportunities to learn Japanese.)
